We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Planning Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in transmission system analysis to drive critical projects and ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical networks. You will be at the forefront of analyzing and optimizing transmission systems, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for modern energy challenges. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting various transmission system studies using advanced software tools such as PSS/E.

Responsibilities:

• Perform load flow, contingency analysis, stability studies, and other transmission system studies.
• Analyze and interpret study results to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance.
• Develop and validate models for transmission system simulations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience with PSS/E and other transmission system analysis software.
• Strong understanding of transmission system principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with renewable energy integration and grid modernization.
• Familiarity with other transmission system analysis tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, or PowerWorld.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
