Job Title: Senior Director, Supply Chain

Location: Corporate Office (Full-Time) Permanent

Department: Supply Chain & Operations

Reports To: Executive Leadership

Travel Requirement: Approximately 20% travel to SA

Position Summary

The Senior Director of Supply Chain is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all facets of the supply chain—including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The role demands a results-driven leader with expertise in food manufacturing, who can enhance supply chain performance while maintaining regulatory compliance and fostering innovation.

This position is instrumental in aligning the supply chain strategy with corporate goals, improving cost-efficiency, and ensuring seamless operations across global networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement long-term supply chain strategies that align with growth and scalability targets.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes for raw materials, packaging, and indirect supplies—ensuring best cost, quality, and service.
  • Oversee logistics, warehousing, and inventory systems to improve efficiency and reduce operational waste.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales to synchronize production and demand planning.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure service consistency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor, report, and improve supply chain KPIs including on-time delivery, inventory turns, and cost per unit.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including FDA, USDA, HACCP, and other relevant food safety protocols.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team—instilling a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with finance and executive leadership to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of end-to-end supply chain experience , including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role .
  • Demonstrated success in a food manufacturing environment, including inventory control and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics data analytics.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in sustainability and quality system implementation is a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
