Job Description

The Senior HR Generalist will serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers across the organization, supporting a wide range of human resources functions including employee relations, performance management, compliance, recruitment, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that supports our strategic goals and values.

What will you do day-to-day?

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, offering timely and effective resolution while ensuring a fair and consistent approach
  • Guide managers and staff on performance issues, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in alignment with company policies and employment law
  • Support the development and execution of initiatives to promote employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, post openings, and support full-cycle recruitment for various departments
  • Coordinate and enhance onboarding processes to ensure a welcoming and informative experience for new hires

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure company practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Review and update employee handbooks and HR policies as needed

Performance Management & Development

  • Facilitate annual performance review process and support managers with performance improvement plans
  • Identify training and development needs; recommend or deliver learning initiatives in partnership with the HR team

Benefits & Compensation

  • Administer employee benefit programs and serve as a point of contact for benefit-related inquiries
  • Help employees understand benefit options and open enrollment processes

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a mid-sized or fast-paced environment
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. labor laws, HR compliance practices, and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
