Smart Circle International is a leading broker of outsourced sales and customer acquisition services. We help clients and independently owned and operated sales companies grow together through versatile in-person marketing and sales campaigns inside retailers, businesses and through door-to-door canvassing. We have corporate offices in Newport Beach and Toronto.

 

About this position: We are based in Newport Beach, California and the role is a Full-time, hybrid position requiring a few days per week in office. Some travel will be required.

About the Role:

Smart Circle is seeking a Sales Analytics Lead to join our Analytics and Financial Planning & Analysis team to lead financial, operational, and analytics on multiple campaigns. The Sales Analytics Lead must have a self-starter attitude and strong sense of urgency to drive strategy, sales, and profitability in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. This role requires critical thinking, problem solving, strong analytical skills, mastery of complex data sets, operational ability to implement strategic changes across multiple departments. The position will report directly to the Senior Director of FP&A. The Sales Analytics Lead engages with finance, accounting, sales, management, clients, and independent contractors. We are looking for someone who is ambitious to join our team, ready to work in a culture that recognizes and rewards hard work and results. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Fully manage multiple campaigns and clients by serving as the lead for all financial and operational reporting; analyze, report, and drive sales and profitability.

· Validate and manage challenging data sets to deliver accurate, clear, and concise reports and analysis.

· Work as key contact with clients to analyze success of campaign, recommend strategic improvements, manage dataset, and resolve discrepancies.

· Work closely with executive team, sales team, and internal finance and analytics team.

· Develops financial and operational targets/goals with executives and clients.

· Utilizes strong data and modeling skills to build pro-forma P&Ls, analyze compensation structures, identify trends, build forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions.

· Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

· Manage and improve the commissions process and validate results.

· Additional duties as assigned

 

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

· Tableau Desktop – heavy experience with calculated fields and LOD formulas required

· Advanced excel skills

· Financial and operational modeling

· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, culture of curiosity and constant improvement

· Critical Thinking, Strong Interpersonal Skills, Problem Solving, Process Improvement

· Extensive experience in validating, troubleshooting, and analyzing large and complex data; database literacy

· Proven record of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines

· Excellent communications skills required to communicate with C-suite (verbal and written)

· Excellent data analytical skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or other related field

· 4+ years of work experience

· Positive outlook, can-do attitude is a must

In Accordance With The Applicable Law, The Following Represents a Good Faith Estimate Of The Minimum And Maximum Compensation Range For This Position

The estimated annual] compensation range for this role is $120k - $160k

 

The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. Exact compensation for this role will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
