Manager of Clinical Training & Development – Downtown Chicago, IL

$120,000-$140,000 + Full Benefits, PTO, 401K + Match

About the Role:

The Manager of Clinical Training & Development is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing training programs that ensure clients are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe, effective, and high-quality care. This role is pivotal in aligning training initiatives with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and clinical best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement training programs for clients, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Clinical, Sales, Product, Compliance, etc.) to align training with business and clinical objectives.
• Maintain and update educational content based on the latest clinical research, product updates, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; recommend improvements as needed.
• Oversee the learning management system (LMS) and ensure all training materials are current and accessible.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling and materials preparation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical training, education, or a similar role within a healthcare or medical device environment.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and clinical best practices.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in developing training content using PowerPoint, e-learning tools, and LMS platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, depending on training needs.
