Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant equipment and systems while supporting production goals and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians, including preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all equipment, utilities, and facilities are maintained in compliance with food safety standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, SQF).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and upgrades.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to build technical skills and promote a culture of accountability.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food processing equipment, packaging machinery, and utility systems (e.g., boilers, refrigeration, compressed air).
• Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance best practices.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as needed.
