We are seeking a skilled Lead Appian Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative business process management (BPM) solutions using the Appian platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, optimize workflows, and enhance system functionality. If you have a passion for low-code development, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to work on impactful projects with high visibility we’d love to discuss the details of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Appian-based BPM solutions to optimize business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and customize Appian applications, interfaces, and process models.
  • Integrate Appian with other enterprise systems and third-party applications as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Appian applications, implementing updates and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, security standards, and company policies.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and system configurations for future reference.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and code reviews

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience developing solutions using the Appian platform.
  • Strong understanding of Appian components, including process models, interfaces, record types, and integrations.
  • Experience with low-code development and business process management (BPM) principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Java, JavaScript, and web services (SOAP/REST) for system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Appian certification (such as Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher) is a plus
