Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Intern located in West Palm Beach, FL. The Intern will assist with various tasks including assisting the owners with managing the store, researching current design trends, supporting LAVARA clients, furniture and interior proposals for LAVARA clients, designing interior spaces for clients and participating in project planning. Duties also include providing administrative support related to the showroom and retail operation to the team. The Intern will gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the luxury furniture and design industry.
What We’re Looking For
• Current student or recent graduate in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
• A strong academic portfolio demonstrating design skills and creative thinking
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, design-focused environment
• Familiarity with design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or Revit
• A passion for high-end interiors, design trends, and luxury lifestyle
What You’ll Learn & Do
• Support the design team in developing tailored interior solutions for luxury residential and commercial clients
• Assist with showroom operations, visual merchandising, and client engagement
• Gain hands-on experience with inventory management and vendor coordination
• Contribute to design presentations, client meetings, and sourcing materials
