Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Strategic Planning Specialist / Associate to support the General Affairs department. This role is essential in driving departmental initiatives, maintaining compliance with document security protocols, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives in alignment with organizational goals
• Conduct market research, internal assessments, and benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making
• Track and evaluate progress on key projects, identifying potential risks and recommending improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect data and ensure consistent alignment of initiatives
• Prepare reports, executive summaries, and presentations for senior leadership
• Organize and facilitate planning sessions, workshops, and innovation forums
• Manage document security procedures, including classification, storage, retrieval, and secure disposal
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to document security policies and procedures
• Train staff on best practices for managing confidential and sensitive information
• Implement and oversee access controls and data protection measures for both digital and physical records
• Maintain accurate records of strategic initiatives and document control activities
• Work cross-functionally to enhance processes and support operational efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, document management, or a related function
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
