Akkodis has a fantastic long-term contract opportunity!! We are looking for an Embedded Engineer for avionics industry in Phoenix, AZ. Its a 100% onsite job.

Embedded Engineer

6+ Months Contract opportunity

Phoenix, AZ

Rate: $60 - $75/hour on W2 (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Notes (Must have):

• 7+ years of experience in embedded software engineering to develop displays applications and logic. Will be using SCADE modeling tool for the Graphics and C/C++ for logic and this is a must have skills
• DO-178C, A661 experience will be helpful
• Minimum 6+ years of experience. Will also perform Integration & Test on target hardware.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ software development

Job Summary:

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

7+ years of experience in embedded software engineering to develop displays applications and logic. Will be using SCADE modeling tool for the Graphics and C/C++ for logic and this is a must have skills

Strong proficiency in C/C++ software development

WE VALUE

Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Open GL, etc

Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)

Experience in embedded software development for aerospace, avionics, display technologies, or related industries.

Experience with Avionics products is of value i.e. Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc

Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
