Job title :: Electronics Test Technician

Location :: Pleasanton CA 94588 (OSNITE)

Duration :: Temp to Hire

Shift :: 7 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon - Fri)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Repair Technician with strong experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices down to the component level. This position involves hands-on bench repair, testing, and occasional customer support. Ideal candidates will be familiar with SMT and electronic diagnostic tools and may transition to a service technician role supporting end users remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electronic equipment using schematics, oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, and other diagnostic tools
• Troubleshoot to component level in both bench and production environments
• Perform repairs and adjustments on SMT-based devices
• Document work and maintain repair logs
• Support end users via phone/email for technical troubleshooting
• Follow all safety and ESD protocols
• Obtain Hepatitis B vaccination (provided by client, required due to nature of work)

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or Electronic Tech certification
• (OR minimum 5 years of hands-on repair/service experience)
• 3–5 years of experience in electronic repair and testing
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment: DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies
• Familiarity with SMT rework and soldering
