Title: Structure works 3D Designer (Designer II)
Status: Direct Hire
Salary: 60-72K
Location: Petersburg, VA, relocation assistance available for those who require it.
Summary of Primary Functions: Prepares shop tickets for various pre-cast structures using 3-D modeling software and support the design team on a variety of projects and the day-today functions as it relates to design and fabrication. Prepares erection drawings using 3-D modeling software under the supervision of the Chief Designer or Design Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Certificates, Licenses, Registration: training and/or certification in SolidWorks/StructureWorks.
Education: Design/ Drafting related Associate's Degree (2 year) is preferred.
Experience: Related work experience may considered in lieu of a degree. Some previous design/drafting experience is preferred.
Travel Required: Occasional
