Job Description

This is an on-site position at Halo Studios in Redmond, WA. Minimum is in office Mon-Wed, but will vary some based on business needs.

Pay Range: $40/hr - $45/hr​

Seeking an energetic, organized, and experienced video producer to create impactful, highly engaging multimedia content for a AAA franchise.

This role requires expertise in video editing and production, excels in creative ideation, can thrive under pressure and navigate ambiguity, tackles problems with confidence, demonstrates successful collaboration abilities, can self-manage their own time against a project deliverable, has an eye for composition and cinematography, and can effectively communicate a vision to partners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate also has familiarity working with Unreal Engine for content capture and has familiarity with live streaming.

Responsibilities

  • Scope and define and execute video goals and content deliverables in partnership with Community Team on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Project Creative – Partner to define creative brief and content pitches in alignment with business needs and desired outcomes, define content needs and production schedule, and execute on approved creative.
  • Video Editing – Driving and editing video projects of all shapes and sizes from hype game trailers to short-form social skits to long-form documentaries.
  • Graphics and Post Production – After Effect (and similar) graphic and FX creation (VFX, titles, lower thirds, text, end cards, etc).
  • Shooting and Cinematography – Support on location camera shoots such as interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, event footage, b-roll, and more.
  • Live Stream and Broadcast Production – Support studio live stream broadcast, audio/visual output, on stream graphics, quality output to YT, Twitch, Tik Tok and more.
  • Quality Control – Support stakeholder reviews and feedback loops, iteration, feedback integration, address bugs. Support QC for other Media Team content efforts.
  • Process & Organization – Maintain an organized archive of video footage, capture, and projects; maintain Community Broadcast Studio and equipment inventory,

Skills & Experience

  • Superb video editing skills
  • Experience with creative media production of different scopes and goals
  • Experience with creative brief development, ideation, and execution
  • After Effects (and similar) video FX and graphic creation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously to deliver content on time, at quality
  • Experience shooting b-roll and operating cameras
  • Effective communicator with colleagues and stakeholders
  • General knowledge of live streaming and live broadcasting

Pluses:

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine for content capture
